This is an old sketch from over 100 days ago, but I’ve always been a big fan of it.

I’ve been doing these designs in the computer, to work on composition skills, for when I start painting again, in case you just thought I was being lazy.

Another superhero sketch

Well, I kinda went nuts with this one. I decided to work on being more spontaneous with my art, so I reused my earlier drawing of the Captain America toy and did what I did. I’m still not sure if it’s good or not, I like parts of it, and others leave me wanting more.

I find a lot of good subject matter in my children’s toys. This was a good exercise in perspective and proportion. I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I think tomorrow I should have more time for something more intensive.
