Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

I don’t know what I was thinking with this one, other than I was was wanting to do something easy and quick. Enjoy.

Day 34 – Abe and Jack

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Well, this didn’t come out as clearly as I’d hoped, but there’s still something I like about it.

Day 33 – Burglar Zombie

Monday, October 19th, 2009

I’m tired and I think I shouldn’t have drank so much beer with dinner. This one is really half assed, but I still find it funny. I did a quick trace of the burglar from my daughter’s Wonder Woman coloring book. He can out looking a little funny, so I added the caption o explain. Mmmmm, brains.

Day 32 – Star Lincoln

Sunday, October 18th, 2009

I think this is my favorite one by far. This is closer to the direction I want to go. There is something about this that makes me very happy.

Day 31 – Lincoln with Printer

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

This one is interesting to me, because I know now something I hoped was possible is now possible. Good news for future projects.

Day 30 – Recycled Captain

Friday, October 16th, 2009

Well, I kinda went nuts with this one. I decided to work on being more spontaneous with my art, so I reused my earlier drawing of the Captain America toy and did what I did. I’m still not sure if it’s good or not, I like parts of it, and others leave me wanting more.

Day 29 – Skull

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

I wanted a break from Lincoln, so I went with a little Halloween influence.

Day 28 – Faded Abe

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

I think I took a few too many step on making this one. I went to far and should have stopped after adding the silver ink. Oh well, I learn.

Day 27 – Lincoln in Blue and Green

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Another print, this time a little more controlled.

Day 26 – Quad Lincoln

Monday, October 12th, 2009

Today I messed around a little bit with printing technique, and I think I’ve come up with some nice ideas. They’re take a little practice though. I’m really enjoying doing these
